Splendid !

I'm back in Chicago again ! :) After spending 4 wonderful days in London - UK, it's pretty suprsing but i just couldn't deny how much I miss US specifically Chicago *crazy huh*... I mean London is pretty and all that.. but it just doesn't feel right for me y'know ?! It's definitely not a place where I want to live and work.. but really a great place for vacation ! It's a good getaway place.. Went to Buckingham palace, Windsor Castle, SoHo (bit of it), Wimbledon court and Chelsea stadium.. took zillion pictures in Madamme Tussaud's Wax museum *the highlight of my 2nd day :)* ... We also took those cruise on Thames river.. overlooking Big Ben, Tower bridge and London Eye.

The craziest CRAZIEST thing we did on the very first day was climbing up St. Paul's cathedral to the very TOP.. which has like 700-somthing steps.. make that 1400 steps round trip !!! My feet was so sore I could hardly stand after that painful journey up. The view was magnificent though... and it was where Prince Charles and Diana got married so the interior of the cathedral was beautiful beyond words...

Anyways, I showed some pics of me with the wax figures of Hollywood famous stars at Tussaud to some of my co-workers today and they fell for it BIG time !! :D Some of them even thought that the wax figure was ME and the real wax figure was Real !! They looked so much like real human it scares me.. But funny how all of my friends at work were like.. That' You and Brad Pitt in London ?!!! ^_^*

I'm just thankful to God for this trip.. we already had a really good deal on airflight and hotel.. bu then, we found another good deal on transportation and all the touristy places in London so that we don't have to pay a single penny while we were there; except for food, since it's all already included in the package. GOD is GOOD !! :)

Well.. looking forward to visit other parts of UK or even Europe sometime in the future.. but overall it was a splendid journey !
